We intend to promote a healthy lifestyle to our members and anyone who is interested in making a difference in their physical health. We will be a club centered around the gym. While our name suggests that we are just a general fitness club we plan to compete in powerlifting competitions and bodybuilding competitions too, for those that are interested in that section of our club. We are a group of like-minded men and women of Lamar University. We also have a potential sponsor for our club that will help those of us that are serious to compete in competitions/shows.

Section 1. All Lamar University students, who are officially registered, faculty and staff who are interested in the Lamar University Table Tennis are eligible for membership into the Lamar University Table Tennis at Lamar University/LIT.

Section 2. In order to be regarded as a regular member of the Lamar University Table Tennis at Lamar University/LIT with voting privileges, a student must participate in at least two of the organization's sponsored functions per semester, maintain a 75% attendance record, and maintain good academic and judicial standing with Lamar University/LIT.

An Archery program for the youth & adults enrolled in Lamar University, to pursue active archery practice, attend teaching, competitions, and fellowship among the club. This program will be open to all skill levels of archers. Coaching and teaching will be available. The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) is designed to enhance the total student-athlete experience by promoting opportunity, protecting student-athlete welfare and fostering a positive student-athlete image. SAAC gives student-athletes a voice within Lamar’s athletic department by opening the lines of communication between the athletic administration and student-athletes. Student-athletes can bring up concerns regarding current legislation at the campus and national levels and provide feedback as necessary. SAAC also provides leadership opportunities on and off campus through community service and other events.
