Alpha Delta Pi's mission statement is to cultivate the qualities of a Greek woman. Our four points of our diamond stand for Service, Scholarship, Sisterhood, and Self. We provide opportunities within Alpha Delta Pi and within our community to grow as a leader through service projects, conventions to collaborate with other chapters around the country, and a variety of officer positions within our chapter.

Any male student of an accredited college may be presented as a candidate for membership in a college chapter
provided that he:
• Attends an institution where an active chapter is located (Membership is not available for individuals attending
an online university that does not have a chapter seat. Membership is only available for individuals attending the
school where the chapter seat is located.)
• Has successfully completed one semester or two quarters of a regular year's program
• Is a full-time student taking courses leading to his first academic degree
• Is in good academic standing with a cumulative grade point average of not less than 2.5 on a 4.0 grade point
scale or equivalent except where the minimum grade required by the college for graduation is greater; then the
minimum grade for graduation must be used for eligibility
• Is of good character
• Is registered to vote, if eligible and qualified
• Is sponsored by a member in good standing from the chapter in which the candidate is seeking membership
• Is recommended by a member in good standing from the chapter in which the candidate is seeking membership

CPC is home to 3 chapters affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC, oldest national conference) and 1 associate chapter (nationally recognized, not part of NPC). Primary Recruitment for the 3 affiliated chapters happens in the Fall semester of every year. Interested members must register for primary recruitment. Open recruitment is solely based on numbers and is not guaranteed to happen in the Spring. Alpha Omega Epsilon (AOE, an associate chapter) holds a rush week each semester no matter the other chapters.

Mission
The Purpose of Greek Council will be as follows:
A. The promotion of relationship that is conducive to the general preservation of
the fraternity/sorority system at the Lamar University herein referred to as Lamar.
B. The improvement of the fraternity/sorority experience and helping the Greek
way of life remain acceptable and relevant to student life as it changes on campus.
C. To serve as a forum for the consideration of mutual interest to the member
organizations.
D. To be of assistance to fraternities/sororities in the accomplishment of their
goals and activities when such assistance is considered to be appropriate.
E. To provide programs and activities, both developmental and social, for all
member/associate member organizations to help improve their functionality and
to provide experiences that encourage cooperation and unity among organizations.
F. To initiate resolutions and recommendations that will further the purposes and
ideals of the member/associate member organizations at Lamar.
G. To solve disputes between Greek organizations and/or sub councils at Lamar.
H. To serve as a governing body among all affiliated Greek organizations/sub
councils at Lamar.

The purpose of this organization shall be to promote and maintain fraternal ideals, spirit, and leadership among fraternities at Lamar University; promote and ensure cooperation among the fraternities, their National Organizations, the University administration, and the community; aid in the development and maturation of individual fraternity members; provide a medium for the exchange of ideas between the various fraternities; coordinate the fraternities in order to make them as effective as possible; and to promote the interest of college fraternities in general.

The brothers of Phi Beta Sigma are the Fraternity's most valuable resource and strength. The Chapter must deem each prospective candidate acceptable before bids are to be extended to him.
Successful completion of a candidate program of at least fifty-two (52) days duration.
Good financial standing with Sigma Nu International Fraternity and the Zeta Psi Chapter.
An overall GPA of 2.5. First-semester incoming freshmen are assumed to have a 2.5 GPA.
Complete the LEAD program Phase one.
Follow the candidate plan presented by the marshal to completion.

Section 2. In order to be regarded as a regular member of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority at Lamar University with voting privileges, a student must have paid all national regional and chapter dues

Mission
The object of this organization shall be to promote the purpose and programs of the Fraternity; to function as a constructive vital force in the lives of its members; to cooperate with local alumnae; and to serve as a cooperative, active part of the university program.

Membership Benefits
A. New Member- Any female student enrolled in at least 12 hours at Lamar University- Beaumont who has met the eligibility requirements set forth in the National Constitution and Bylaws, the National policies of Zeta Tau Alpha and of Lamar University is eligible for membership in the Delta Sigma Chapter. A girl may be asked to join with a 2.5 (college) grade point average or a 2.5 (high school) on a four point system.
B. Rejoin- Any girl may not rejoin after her second semester of signing her bid card without permission of the Province President, two-thirds vote of initiated members, and a 2.5 G.P.A.
C. Member- Membership in the Delta Sigma Chapter may be extended to college women who are enrolled at Lamar University; who meet the requirement set forth in the National Constitution and Bylaws and are enrolled in at least 6 hours at Lamar University. Initiated membership will be extended only to those having successfully completed the Zeta Tau Alpha New Member Program and are in good standing with the active chapter.
D. Transfers- A transferring member of Zeta Tau Alpha may affiliate with the chapter according to the policies and procedures outlined in the General Manual. A two-thirds vote will be taken on whether or not members will be allowed to affiliate.
