Section 1
All Lamar University students, who are officially registered, faculty and staff who are interested in the Bangladesh Student Association are eligible for membership into the Bangladesh Student Association at Lamar University/LIT.

Section 2
All the members of the Bangladesh Student Association are required to pay a fixed amount of annual membership fee by due date. Details on the membership fee is included in section#1 of Article VII.

Section 3
All members must maintain a 2.75 GPA or above. Failing to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the membership from the association.

Section 4
To be regarded as a regular member of the Bangladesh Student Association at Lamar University/LIT with voting privileges, a student must participate in at least three of the organization's sponsored functions over the year, maintain a 60% attendance record, and maintain good academic and judicial standing with Lamar University/LIT.

Phi Beta Delta, founded at California State University, Long Beach in 1986, was established as an organization in 1987 with 38 chartered chapters, many of which had existed for a considerable time previously at the local level. It is the first honor society dedicated to recognizing scholarly achievement in international education. As of March 2021, 206 chapters have been chartered. Phi Beta Delta traces its background to the eighteenth-century founding of Phi Beta Kappa. In the nineteenth century, Greek fraternities divided into the social, professional, and academic Greeks. TLC is a Christian organization enhancing the lives of students at ten-plus universities within Texas and Louisiana. Through the study of God's word, students will be taught and empowered to overcome life's challenges both academically and spiritually.

Community Service- TLC is very active in the surrounding community. By participating in our outreach events students will obtain community service opportunities as well as the opportunity to serve others.
Education & Academic Excellence - Students who have joined and remained a part of the TLC organization throughout their time as a student, have successfully graduated with degrees. Students will have the opportunity to be fully developed academically and prepared for their future career fields. We will equip our members with wisdom from the word of God in order to be successful in all aspects of life.

The Lamar University Undergraduate Research Association is dedicated to supporting and encouraging the participation of Lamar University's students in undergraduate research and professional development events.

Membership Benefits
Members gain the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills in undergraduate research, as well as professional development opportunities as they look towards graduate school.

Members will gain exposure to undergraduate research and have the opportunity to develop their knowledge and skills. Professional development events from talks to workshops will be held to prepare students for graduate school and/or future endeavors.

The purpose of this organization shall be to promote service at Lamar University/LIT community at large, to provide professional development of our membership, and to offer a social outlet to all those interested in the Vietnamese culture.

Membership Benefits
Section 1. All Lamar University students, who are officially registered, faculty and staff who are interested in the Vietnamese culture are eligible for membership into the Vietnamese Students Association at Lamar University/LIT.

Section 2. To be regarded as a regular member of the Vietnamese Students Association at Lamar University/LIT with voting privileges, a student must participate in at least two of the organization's sponsored functions per semester, maintain a 50% attendance record, and maintain good academic and judicial standing with Lamar University/LIT.

Woman to Woman was founded in 2007 by Mrs. Belashia Wallace and quickly grew to become the top women's organization on campus. The purpose of this organization is to empower and equip the young women on the Lamar University campus with the necessary tools for success. Woman to Woman serves as an outlet for young women to come together and open up about issues that every young woman faces in college, such as relationships, finances, education, and career in an effort to help them take progressive steps towards womanhood. Woman to Woman stands firm on the principles of empowerment, fellowship, leadership, and community service while welcoming women of all backgrounds.

It's an interdenominational Christian organization that has been around since the 1940s but started on the LU Campus in 2015.
