We also participate in ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) and host the Computer Science Department's Annual Spring Banquet.

The purpose of this organization shall be to promote service at Lamar University/LIT community at large, to provide for professional development of our membership, and to offer a social outlet to all those interested in Bangladeshi cultures and traditions.

Section 1
All Lamar University students, who are officially registered, faculty and staff who are interested in the Bangladesh Student Association are eligible for membership into the Bangladesh Student Association at Lamar University/LIT.

Section 2
All the members of the Bangladesh Student Association are required to pay a fixed amount of annual membership fee by due date. Details on the membership fee is included in section#1 of Article VII.

Section 3
All members must maintain a 2.75 GPA or above. Failing to do so will result in automatic cancellation of the membership from the association.

Section 4
To be regarded as a regular member of the Bangladesh Student Association at Lamar University/LIT with voting privileges, a student must participate in at least three of the organization's sponsored functions over the year, maintain a 60% attendance record, and maintain good academic and judicial standing with Lamar University/LIT.

A. As the purpose states, FCA is targeted at reaching athletes and coaches. In order to best reach this group through the Huddle, participants for Huddles are to be current or former members of recognized school teams and those who carry an interest in athletics.
B. FCA should not become an exclusive "club," with restricted membership, however, a key principle in FCA's strategy for reaching "athletes and coaches" is for the commonality of athletics with those in the group to remain obvious.
