Chartwells will be hosting Fall FestiFUL, the first signature event in our second academic year of the JoyFUL campaign, designed to celebrate all things fall with the students. This year the Fall FestiFUL signature event will include a Farmer's Market to celebrate our local partners and create an outlet for connections with students and the campus community.
The Farmer's Market will take place on October 5th from 11am to 2pm. There will be food options, crafts, games, and prizes. Mark your calendars and come out and enjoy what the Beaumont area has to offer.
For any student organization that would like to have a table to promote anything, please contact Jennifer Melnychuk, Marketing Manager, by September 27.
Leadership Workshops
Student Organization Leadership Workshops are available to provide foundational education for student organization leaders and/or members. Do you need help building a team, running effective meetings, understanding leadership styles, creating community service projects, or achieving your goals? The New Student and Leadership Programs (NSLP) office offers customized workshops on these topics - and many more - based on the specific needs of your club, group, or organization.
Before you request a workshop, please see if the topic is already offered through our Workshops for students. If you don’t see a Workshop that meets your needs - or if you need to schedule a workshop for your group or class - please request a workshop!
NSLP is hosting their annual Leadership Conference from 1pm - 3pm on Friday October 7th. This is a great opportunity to get some help developing your skills as a leader on campus! You can register on LU Hub up until the day of the event. There is a chance to win money for your student organization!
Tailgating for Student Organizations is permitted in Parking Lot A-5 on football game days. Organizations can now sign up to receive passes at no cost!
There was a great turnout at this past week's game - and lots of fun!
CAB sponsored the DJ from So Hype DJ's. The Lamar Fitness Club received sponsorship from Bounce Town, and they provided a bounce house!
Join us for an upcoming tailgate - there's only 4 home games left!
