From: Student Organization Services Date: February 13, 2025 Subject: Sign Up for the Involvement Fair
📅 Spring Involvement Fair
The Involvement Fair is a comprehensive event that allows all LU students to speak with groups to learn how to join them, get their questions answered, and create connections. Groups attending gain the opportunity to recruit new members and provide information about their services or activities.
Thursday, February 20 from 11:30 AM to 2 PM
Groups should plan to provide their own signage/display/decor, tablecloth, giveaways, and/or any other information you would like to give out or provide! Plan to staff your table space with 2 to 6 representatives at a time, for the entire duration of the event (plan in shifts, if needed).
Get ready to bring the energy and represent your student organization at the upcoming games on February 27, March 1, and March 3! Each game is a chance for your group to win a $200 prize for having the largest attendance.
But that’s not all - attendance will be tracked across all games, and the group with the highest cumulative attendance will take home the grand prize of $1000!
Make sure to check in at the game and your student organization will earn points. Let’s pack the stands and show our Cardinal pride!

Points are earned through events, volunteer hours, leadership roles, and more.
How it works
Student organizations can earn points through various activities, including but not limited to:
Event Participation: Attending or hosting university-approved events
Community Service: Engaging in volunteer activities or outreach programs within the Beaumont community or beyond
Leadership Development: Participating in SOLD trainings and flight plan workshops.
Club Meetings and Collaboration: Regular participation in meetings and collaboration with other organizations on campus.
LU Hub: Usage of LU Hub to schedule and host events, communicate with group members, and stay up to date on registration.
