The Lamar University Society of Women Engineers is excited to begin a new semester with you! SWE meetings will be held bi-weekly on Mondays at 5:30 pm beginnng on August 30th. You heard that right! Our first general meeting will be August 30th at 5:30 pm in-person in Cherry 3204. Join our meeting to hear about the upcoming events, such as the ExxonMobil Resume Critique, Dow Chemical: Global Diversity and Inclusion Panel, and SWE National Conference. Food will be provided.

Dow: Global Diversity and Inclusion Panel

Join SASE, ASME, and SWE as we host Dow Chemicals for a panel on Global Diversity and Inclusion and its importance in your professional career! You will also have the opportunity to ask questions.

ExxonMobil Engineering Resume Critique Session

Sign up now while spots are available! SASE and SWE are partnering together to host an ExxonMobil Engineering Resume Critique Session on September 7th from 6-8pm via Zoom.

You will have 30 minutes to speak one-on-one with an experienced ExxonMobil engineer as they help shape your resume to better reflect you and prepare you for the Fall Engineering Career Fair.

Fall Engineering Career Fair

Register for the Fall Engineering Career Fair on Hanshake! The virtual career fair is on September 9th from 12-5pm and the in-person career fair is on September 10th from 12-3pm. Students with a sophomore classification (30 hours or more) and a 2.8 GPA are able to attend the career fair.
