Signing Cardinals is a student organization that strongly encourages Deaf, Hard-of-Hearing, and Hearing people to make a difference. We provide social events every week for those who want to develop friendships through the Deaf community. We care about growing a strong bond between other people through our organization.
Benefits of participation in LU Signing Cardinals includes interaction with language mentors, models, and peers; exposure to and integration of social aspects of the Deaf community; learning about Deaf/hearing cultural mediation; and, enhancing sign language communication skills for personal and professional development.
