Alternative Spring Break (ASB) is a great opportunity for students to participate in a community service trip during spring break. Instead of taking a traditional vacation, students will embark on a volunteer project that allows them to make a difference in a community and develop important skills such as teamwork, problem-solving, and empathy.
Benefits of participating in Alternative Spring Break:
- Contributing to the well-being of underserved communities.
- Developing leadership and teamwork skills.
- Expanding perspectives and experiences by engaging with new cultures and environments.
- Strengthening the resume with meaningful volunteer experience.
If your student is interested in making a positive impact and enjoying a unique experience during spring break, encourage them to register for Alternative Spring Break through their LU HUB! Applications will close on Sunday, January 26th.
