Our mission is to facilitate leadership and involvement opportunities that enhance personal, interpersonal, and organizational development for Lamar University students. We are dedicated to making your time serving in a student organization as seamless and beneficial as possible.
This mandatory session is required for all officers (students and faculty/staff) of student organizations to complete to gain official approval and recognition. It covers key policies, responsibilities, and expectations for active participation on campus.
The SOLD Series is a program designed to equip student leaders with essential skills, resources, and strategies to effectively manage and grow their organizations. Through interactive workshops and networking opportunities, participants gain valuable insights into leadership, event planning, team dynamics, and more.
To promote student engagement and recognize the hard work of our student organizations, we have implemented a comprehensive point system. This system rewards student organizations based on their activities, involvement, and contributions to the Lamar University community. Points are earned through events, volunteer hours, leadership roles, and more.
Our office is here to offer and assist in a wide range of trainings and workshops to help your student organization reach its full potential.
