Section 2. The object of the Student Engineering Council shall be to represent the students of the Lamar University College of Engineering, to promote engineering awareness, and to promote the professional advancement of students of the Lamar University College of Engineering.
Section 2. Every member of the Council shall have the following privileges: 1. The ability to attend General Assembly meetings, with priority to seating given to those of the General Assembly. Minutes of the meetings shall be made available to them upon request. 2. Opportunities to volunteer to be a member of certain committees, as provided by Law.
