Membership Benefits
Lamar Student Association is a professional organization that provides professional development while still in college. Training workshops, conferences, networking, and community engagement projects include a brief list of benefits of the organization. Members of the group acquire professional liability insurance, save money on cell phones, auto insurance, shopping, dining, travel and access to TSTA and NEA's vast resources, including valuable career information and important personal contacts. Membership in TSTA-Student Program helps you make the transition from student to professional educator. NEA's website is an excellent resource for information and networking with experienced teachers.
