Mission
The purposes of this organization shall be:
- To provide an environment that supports the creative ideas of premedical students.
- To promote, encourage and maintain a cohesive relationship with the students and non-student organizations of Lamar University.
- To serve as a forum for discussion of health issues, medical school admittance, and develop a policy agenda for premedical students.
- To educate about changes in the medical education or admittance process.
- To maintain its status as an independent and professional organization.
- To maintain its primary identity as an organization for premedical students.
- To promote and maintain programs that enhance the quality of health care and education in the community.
- To be financially independent and maintain a stable financial base.
