🩺 Upcoming AMSA Meeting - Beyond the GPA: Building a Competitive Application!
Our next AMSA meeting is coming up next Monday! We’ll be focusing on the different components that make a strong application for medical school, graduate school, and other healthcare professional programs.

We’ll be discussing how to strengthen your application through research, clinical experience, volunteering, leadership, personal statements, letters of recommendation, and more!
Whether you’re preparing to apply soon or just beginning your journey, this will be a great opportunity to learn what makes a competitive applicant and how to start building your experiences early!

🥕 Volunteer Opportunity - Market to HOPE!
Looking for a way to give back to the Beaumont community? Market to HOPE (Help Other People Eat) is a local nonprofit organization that helps provide healthy food to families in need!
They are always looking for volunteers, especially on the first Saturday of each month.
📅 Saturday, November 7
⏰ 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
📍 3370 Sarah St, Beaumont, TX 77705
👕 Wear appropriate clothing
Volunteers will help prepare bags of healthy food and distribute them to children and adults in the community. This is a great opportunity to make a difference while gaining volunteer experience!
